Will This Fix My Problem?

How does Ford PATS relate to my PCM?
PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System) is Ford's immobilizer. Your keys are matched to security data tied to the PCM, so swapping in a used PCM normally triggers a no-start until the keys are re-married. Cloning copies your PATS data so existing keys keep working.
What's the difference between cloning and just programming a used PCM?
Programming a used PCM typically still requires a two-key PATS relearn and can throw VIN-mismatch codes. Cloning copies your VIN, PATS, calibration and strategy directly onto the donor, so it installs plug-and-play with no relearn.
What's Spanish Oak or Black Oak?
Those are Ford/Visteon processor-strategy families. Spanish Oak (1024K) appeared on mid-2000s Mustangs and F-Series gas trucks; Black Oak covered other gas trucks and 6.0/6.4 Power Stroke diesels. We confirm yours from the part number.
Do I need a matching donor PCM?
Yes. The donor must share the same part number/strategy as your original. Send both and we verify compatibility before writing the data.
Does cloning change my emissions calibration?
No. We copy your factory calibration as-is - VIN and PATS included - with no tune and no emissions changes. For repair, swap and off-road/motorsport use where legally permitted.
