Rhode Island FAQ
Common questions from customers shipping from Rhode Island.
How long does shipping take from Rhode Island to your Arlington TX workshop?
USPS Priority Mail from Providence, RI reaches our Arlington workshop in about 3 business days. UPS Ground similar. We start work the same day your module arrives, and ship back next business day with return shipping included.
How much does it cost to ship from Rhode Island?
USPS Priority Mail flat-rate from Rhode Island to Arlington TX runs about $13. Customer pays shipping to us; return shipping back to Rhode Island is included in the $99 service price.
Do you accept modules from Rhode Island?
Yes — we ship to and from all 50 US states including Rhode Island. Our Arlington TX workshop receives modules from Providence and the rest of Rhode Island every week.
Is there a stock oem re-programming shop in Providence I should use instead?
Most local Providence shops don't offer stock oem re-programming as a bench service — they'd send the part to someone like us anyway. Going direct saves the markup and shortens the timeline. Total round-trip from Providence: typically 5-7 days.
Will this fool the dealer's scan tool?
The scan tool will see factory calibration values — it will not detect any aftermarket modification. The dealer's normal diagnostic flow does not flag a module that reads as stock. (Note: physical engine modifications — headers, cams, etc. — still show themselves through other channels. We restore the software, not the hardware.)
Do I need to tell you what tune was on it?
Helpful but not required. We capture the pre-flash data automatically. Knowing the tune vendor + approx power level helps us verify the reflash overwrote everything correctly.
Can I re-tune AFTER you reflash to stock?
Yes. The module is unrestricted after the reflash — your tuner can read and write normally. If your module was previously locked (Chrysler GPEC2/2A, GM T87A/T93, etc.) and you want it unlocked again, see our PCM Unlocking Service.
