Fixes:

Won't fix:
- ✗Programming the module to your VIN — we virginize; you (or your dealer) do the SPS write after
- ✗Hardware-failed or water-damaged modules (we reset, not repair internal damage)

Why a used Global A module needs virginizing
GM Global A modules store the VIN they were last programmed to. SPS2 / TIS2Web checks that VIN and refuses to reprogram a module that is already married to a different vehicle. Virginizing clears that marriage so the unit looks like a brand-new part — the only way to make a used ECM/module accept programming to your VIN without buying a new one from the dealer.
