Will This Fix My Problem?

Honest answer: here's exactly what this service fixes — and what it doesn't.

Fixes:

  • BMW won't start, dead CAS / no comfort access
  • Replaced CAS and now I need it coded to the car
  • Water-damaged or corroded CAS module
  • CAS3 dot-matrix / no-crank intermittent fault
  • Need a wholesale CAS clone for a customer car (locksmith)

Won't fix:

  • EWS-era BMWs (pre-2005 — see our EWS service)
  • FEM/BDC-only cars where the body controller is the issue
  • Mechanical key blade cutting
  • Engine/DME mechanical no-start unrelated to immobilizer

Shipping Instructions

These details are also emailed to you the moment your payment clears.

Mail your original CAS (and donor module, if you have one) to 1168 W Pioneer Parkway, Arlington TX 76013. No door lock needed — on CAS cars we read the key blade code straight from the module, so there's no lock cylinder to ship (unlike older EWS BMWs). Return shipping is selected and paid at checkout — Standard $14.95 (3–5 days), UPS 2-Day $29.95, or UPS overnight $74.95.

What to include in your box

  • The original CAS module (and a donor CAS, if cloning)
  • Your order confirmation number
  • VIN and the CAS part number from the label
  • A note: clone-to-donor vs. repair-original
  • Your name, return address, and phone number

Frequently Asked

Still have a question? Text us — replies in minutes.

What's the difference between cloning and key programming?
Cloning copies your entire CAS - keys, VIN, mileage, FA - onto a donor byte-for-byte, so your existing keys keep working with zero re-learning. Key programming generates a new key into the existing module.
Do you provide the donor module?
You can send your own matching-generation donor CAS, or ask and we'll source one. The donor must be the same CAS generation (e.g. CAS3+ to CAS3+).
Will my existing keys still work after the clone?
Yes. A 1:1 clone preserves the key data, so every key that worked before works after - no all-keys-lost procedure needed.
Is it really plug-and-play, or does the dealer code it?
Plug-and-play. The clone carries the original VIN, ISN pairing and FA data, so the module drops back in without ISTA coding.
Why do shops and dealers charge more?
A dealer CAS replacement plus coding commonly runs $600-$1,500 and may force an all-keys-lost. Our bench clone is a $250 flat rate and keeps your keys.
